December has arrived! Advent has begun!
The time has flown by and here we are, mid-way through second quarter! We have great things planned for the next few weeks, and are going to be busy, busy, busy.
It is so hard to believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away. I absolutely love this time of year; the excitement in the air, lights, decorations, music, parties, and gifts. If your house is anything like mine, there are Christmas lists being written and growing longer and longer by the minute. And, while all of these "things" about Christmas are wonderful, the main reason for the season sometimes gets lost in the mix.
Over the next few weeks, in preparation, we will be focusing on generosity and giving, being kind and thinking of others. We will prepare our hearts and minds with Advent activities and lighting of the Advent Candle each week. After all, Jesus is the reason for the season!
